2022 Field Cleanup Day
Projects: The picnic tables were sanded and painted.
The runway/taxiway signage was repainted. The White Conex was cleaned and some work was done on the charging station. The trash scattered over our grounds was picked up. The landing pad on the west field was cleaned. The north pit lay down area turf was thoroughly cleaned with amazing results. We'll do the south area at a later date.
We had a great membership turnout with all of the following in attendance....hope we didn't miss anyone.

2021
West Field (Electric Only) Landing Pad
Please thank Project Leaders Michael Tillotson & Greg Vailancourt along with volunteers Rick Barthel, Fred Smith, Mike Nagel and Greg Davisson for completing the installation of the flying pad on the west electric field. These guys worked through a thunderstorm to complete the job. Great Job Guys. The primary intent is to use the pad for taking off and landing helicopters/drones along with launching 3D and short take off planes.

We owe Keith & Ken a BIG thank you for their hard at work on our tractor. Together, they replaced the blown head gasket as seen in the photos below. We at LoveAir RC recognizes these guys for their expert work - maintaining the tractor AND mowing at Drake Field. When you next see them at the field, be sure to let them know how much their efforts are appreciated.
