Voluntary Capital Contribution Fund (VCCF)

In past years, the Operating Budget has supported the capital spending for LoveAir RC.  In 2019, our spending exceeded the normal budget for capital spending at Drake Field.  We replaced our aging tractor mower and riding mower.  We installed a fabulous weather station and battery charging station.  We greatly improved the access road.  Finally we added four new work tables.

For 2020, we plan to execute projects to: further improve the access road, replace an aging BBQ grill, add two more work tables, and replace worn table tops.  In order to help increase the Club’s Emergency Reserve Fund, the board has established a Voluntary Capital Contribution Fund (VCCF) to support this coming years Capital Spending.  To get the fund started, the Old Farts have committed their excess lunch funds (approx. $700) to the VCCF.  Additionally, an Old Fart member contributed $100, while another Old Fart member pledged a dollar for dollar match up to $500 of member contributions.  These funds will only be used for Capital Improvements to our facility.
